Award Winner (2014 – 2015) – Geoffrey Ching
We're pleased to introduce last year's scholarship winner Geoffrey! As a student who attended Sir Winston Churchill Secondary in Vancouver, B.C. for the whole of his secondary school life, Geoffrey was always highly involved in his community. In Grade 8, he started his community involvement by joining the Canadian Blood Services Volunteer program in addition to coaching with the Vancouver District Special Olympics Swim Team. In his later high school years, Geoffrey went on to become Editor-in-Chief of the regionally distributed Big Bang Science Magazine, the founder of the nationally acclaimed Ouroboros Platinum Dragon Boat Team, and a Director for his school’s 100 member International Baccalaureate cohort.
